Concerts, bars and night clubs in Uganda being high risk areas where individuals have no sobriety to observe the SOPs are to remain closed and will be considered for re-opening when the 4.8 million priority population is vaccinated. It’s now totaling to 21 months with the sector not operating due to the fear of the spread of Covid19.

As the President of Uganda H.E Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni was addressing the public on the new directives over covid19, he noted that by the end of 2021, 4.8 million people who include the priority population will have been vaccinated therefore he will be in position to allow the reopening of the entertainment sector.
